Elisabeth C. Dery is a 2012 Graduate of Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School. She practices in elder law, probate, and estate planning, focusing on obtaining government benefits for those in need. Elisabeth is a VA Accredited Attorney who is well versed in government benefit eligibility for all categories of persons and has a particular interest in Special Needs Trust administration and estate planning in Michigan. Elisabeth is also well versed in counseling families through the Probate process after the loss of a loved one and assisting families and individuals in preparing wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Elisabeth was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2014 and is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, VA Committee, and State Bar of Michigan LGBTQA Committee.
Jane Morgan is a 2014 graduate of Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School and holds an undergraduate degree in a bachelor’s of science from Western Michigan University. Jane has worked in probate since 2002 and has helped build a law practice from the ground up. While working, Jane has taught the guardianship and conservatorship training courses the Citizens Alliance Committee put on at the Oakland County Probate Court. In addition, Jane administrates complex decedent estate and trust cases and works with private clients to establish estate plans. After passing the bar in 2015, Jane became a Public Administrator for Oakland County and continues to serve in that capacity today. Jane is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, served as co-captain for the Probate Bench-Bar Conference, and clerked for the Honorable Judge Jennifer Callaghan. She now manages the new law firm and is always happy to lend a helping hand.
Amy Kraydich has been part of the law firm since 2003. She is a National Certified Guardian and currently serves as a Professional Fiduciary in the capacity of Guardian, Conservator, and Trustee for many individuals. She is a member of the Michigan Guardianship Association and the National Guardianship Association. Through her work with Community Mental Health and lobbying in Lansing with the MGA, Amy has advocated for policy change to make Guardianship services accessible to all individuals in need and improve the quality of services provided to individuals afflicted with psychiatric conditions. Amy brings a wealth of knowledge in Social Security and Medicaid benefits. She has experience dealing with the complex issues that arise when applying for, qualifying for, and maintaining government benefits. With expertise in this area, she effectively administers 1st Party and 3rd Party Special Needs Trusts for families with loved ones and individuals on disability. Amy excels at relationship building with her clients. She is compassionate and caring and a strong advocate for all individuals she serves. She is committed to helping each person achieve the best quality of life through their resources.
Mary Ironside obtained an undergraduate degree in 1980 from the University of Michigan and graduated from Detroit College of Law. Mary has worked in the field of probate and currently practices in the areas of Estate/Trust Planning and Guardianships/Conservatorships. In prior years she had experience with civil litigations, along with adoptions. For ten years, Mary was part of the Women’s Lawyer Association of Michigan and held the position of President for one year. Before joining the firm in 2017, Mary worked for General Motors Legal Services Plan for twenty-seven years. She represented eligible UAW members and provided office legal work and referral services. Mary is dedicated to assisting all her clients in helping achieve their legal and estate planning needs.
Curt Ollikainen is a graduate of Wayne State Law School and, in 1981, acquired his undergraduate from Michigan State University. Curt has over thirty years of experience working in probate and a background in criminal and real estate law. Before joining the firm, Curt worked for General Motors Legal Services Plan for twenty-two years. He assisted in providing legal and referral services to UAW members. His duties included preparing legal documents, administrating trusts & real estate litigation. Curt is a strong advocate for all individuals and wants them to thrive and succeed at having the best quality of life.
